How to create a business page on Facebook?
To create a Page for your business using your desktop computer:
- Open your Facebook profile.
- At the top of the homepage, select Create and choose Page.
- Name your Page.
- Add a category to describe your Page.
- Enter business information, such as address and contact information.
- Select Continue
- You can add a profile photo to your Page. If you add a photo, select Next. To complete this step later, select Skip.
- You can add a cover photo to your Page. If you add a photo, select Next. To complete this step later, select Skip.
- When you have completed the steps, select Next to go to your new Page.
Do I need a personal Facebook Profile?
Yes, to create a Page, you need a profile. Information from your personal Facebook profile won’t appear on your Business Page unless you share it there.
If I want to post as my profile or as my page on my page, how do I do that?
To post as your Page, in the top navbar click Account > Use Facebook as Page. Or, in the Admins area at the top right of your Page, click Use Facebook (your Page name).
